Approximation of endpoints for multi-valued mappings in metric spaces
In this paper, under some appropriate conditions, we prove some $Delta$ and strong convergence theorems of endpoints for multi-valued nonexpansive mappings using modified Agarwal-O'Regan-Sahu iterative process in the general setting of 2-uniformly convex hyperbolic spaces. Our results extend and unify some recent results of the current literature.
متن کاملOn simultaneously remotal sets in spaces of vector-valued functions
In this paper we formulate the notions of simultaneously remotal and that of simultaneously densely remotal sets. We exhibit large classes of Banach spaces which have subspaces, whose unit ball is a simultaneously remotal set. We also study them in spaces of vectorvalued function spaces.
متن کاملFunction Valued Metric Spaces
In this paper we introduce the notion of an F-metric, as a function valued distance mapping, on a set X and we investigate the theory of F-metric spaces. We show that every metric space may be viewed as an F-metric space and every F-metric space (X, δ) can be regarded as a topological space (X, τδ). In addition, we prove that the category of the so-called extended Fmetric spaces properly contai...
متن کاملError Bounds for Vector-valued Functions on Metric Spaces
In this paper, we attempt to extend the definition and existing local error bound criteria to vector-valued functions, or more generally, to functions taking values in a normed linear space. Some new primal space derivative-like objects – slopes – are introduced and a classification scheme of error bound criteria is presented.
متن کاملProbabilistic Embedding Of Discrete Sets As Continuous Metric Spaces
Any symmetric affinity function w : V × V → R+ defined on a discrete set V induces Euclidean space structure on V . In particular, an undirected graph specified by an affinity (or adjacency ) matrix can be considered as a metric topological space. We have calculated the visual representations of the probabilistic locus for a chain, a polyhedron, and a finite 2-dimensional lattice.
